WINSLOW TOWNSHIP SCHOOL DISTRICT
Pre-K - 12
On July 1, 2001, the Winslow Township School District became a Pre-K to 12 district for the first time since its inception many, many
years ago. The district consists of four elementary schools with grades Pre-K to 2, two upper elementary schools with grades 3-5, a middle school with grades 6-8, and a high school with grades 9-12. The district also operates the state's Regional Day School that adjoins the middle and high schools.
The new "unified" district has over 6,700 students--increasing from 3,200 students when it is a Pre-K to 6 district.
The Middle School was formerly known as Edgewood Regional Junior High School and the High School was formerly known as Edgewood Regional Senior High School. Both were part of the Lower Camden County Regional High School District No. 1 which dissolved on June 30, 2001.
In order to keep some of the traditions of the Edgewood buildings, the district kept the school colors "Green and White" and the mascot remains as the "Eagle."
